Propeller Automaton Machine Song
The prop machine Automaton Song runs on a Parallax Demo Board. Plug a headset or amp into the sound jack to hear it. The Propeller Automaton machine song is a vocalization.

I'm restoring an antique coin-op machine that has a marionette that can sing and dance to 9 songs (all of which I have on mp3). Of course, the machine was built in 1956 so originally it used a tape player. I would like to be able to trigger the Sparkfun MP3 Trigger with one single input that would essentially play one song after the other. I want to avoid using a microprocessor at all costs if possible. Scenario: User inserts a dime into machine. Machine powers up and plays Song 1 on the MP3 Trigger. Machine powers down. Next user inserts a dime. Machine powers ...hi everybody i am working on a project ( ligth saber) where i use the wave shield circuit on bread board. all is ok exepte a disturbant noise : when i play two song file consecutively i ear a kind of beep sound . if i play one song(only one files .wave on the sd card) with the daphc exemple i heard the same song at the end of the play (just before the next replay). Do you hear the same beep song with our wave shield ? or do you think i make a mistake some were in my breadboard? thank in advanceHello Everyone Here is another CNC machine that I am in the process of making. It is a PCB drilling machine and this one will operate off of one Propeller Proto Board. This machine will connect to the same power supply as the other CNC's. BruceHi Guys, I think there's a simple solution to my problem, but I'm making it way too complicated in my head, so I was wondering if someone can just give me a little slap and point me in the right direction. Best analogy I can use for what I'm trying to do is like a jukebox machine. I have a list of songs I'd like to play and want to store the playlist. Let's say I want to hear song 3 two times and song 6 once and song 1 five times. I keep thinking of using something like the lookup command ...Dear Robot Fans: My plan is to build an animatronic robot with a combo of remote control with some automaton. The top of the robot all the servos would be controlled remotely, and the bottom servos would be walking with sensors. Think MechWars. My question is, "What controllers are available for this application?" My first job, that was working at Showbiz Pizza Palace as a game technician, had a interesting 6 degree double joy pads with ten switches at your finger tips controlling remotely the main character automaton. You had control over all face movements and some of the body movements. My friend asked me how I could make a clock, preferably mechanical, play a song (just one particular song, actually) at a particular time. Now she doesn't want a simple alarm clock or iPod dock, she would like me to actually make it, circuits or not. Does anyone have any suggestions? Even if I get my hands on some sensors and stuff to detect the correct time, how do I translate that into playing the song? How do I play the song in the first place? ...I want to build a spotify controller http://www.spotify.com/ [next song button for the moment] with Arduino to build something like this song changer physical song changer https://vimeo.com/39491102# What do I need to control my spotify? using a windows machine? My Dad loves this video and I'd love to use the prop, some transistors and a few a/c relays to mimic this if possible, so any input would be appreciated. I've never done anything with music on my prop, so that will be new territory for me.Hi, I want to build a 89S52 system, which can play music. My objective is to store a one song in microcontroller and play that song everyday at particular time. I can to timeing stuff using RTC. i dont have idea how to play a song from microntroller. Can anyone share your ideas related to this query. Thanks and Regards, Ashok Kumar PI all - I'm having fun with my boe-bot; but I do have a question. I could use more volume out of the piezo that came with the kit. I want to program a song and have the boe-bot dance to the song (choreograped). I also am looking to achieve a very "robot" sounding robot. I can barely hear the tones coming from the peizo that came with my boe-bot kit. Any thoughts? Please advise. thank youProp users, I am going to learn to write in C or assembly (machine code) for the propeller. Which do you recommend? Also what is GCC mean, I just downloaded the IDE software.A local community center decided to display some 3D photographs I made with the machine I designed from the Propeller. I'm excited because people in my town will get to know some of what I do. If my machine evokes curiosity from some young kids then I'd like to teach a class on the Basic Stamp. The BS2 showed me I could actually program. It was scary at first but I built a machine based on the BS2. I eventually redesigned it based on the Propeller. I want to know from current tutors how big the commitment is. I don't want to bite ...meron bang mp3 player na di auto next song? gamitin ko kac sa Waiting Lines.ung kagaya sa mga banko,NOW SERVING... gamitin ko syang player ng pronounciation ng numbers... ang need ko sana ay saka lng mag play ang next song pag may pinindot akong button... meron ba nun? tnxDoes anyone know the MP3 file format?? I just wired up a board to use the Propeller chip that I got in the "Mystery Bag". I had checked all the voltages and checked for shorts and everything looked good. I then plugged in the Prop and the eeprom but somehow when doing that one of the LM317 resistors broke and both chips saw 6+ volts. I fixed the problem and replaced the Propeller but I don't have another eeprom. The Propeller Tool still doesn't detect a Prop. I just need to know if the eeprom ...Hello, I have read through various post on people's propeller chip's having this same problem. However none seemed to solve the problem. I believe I have installed the correct driver from FTDI (since I installed that first on the machine and then plugged in the prop and then added a 9V bat.). My first attempt I tried multiple times without success then one time upon transferring ir_oscope.spin (the program I had been trying) it worked, however the terminal did not load (but that is a different problem, I may have misread the code and really props do not have a debug ...
